
Dr. Nancy J. Buchinski
Dr. Nancy J. Buchinski attended Clemson University after growing up in a traveling military family. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and began working at MPAH as an associate veterinarian. She remained an associate for 8 years and became owner with her husband, Joseph, in 1997.
She has 2 boys, Adam and Alec. The Buchinski's have had lots of pets (of course!). They currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats. Shown in this picture are "Frannie" a "high-spirited" terrier-cross and "Buster" a loving chocolate laberador retriever, at home is "Sadie", a lab mix. Their cats are "Sonny", an orange male that found his way into the garage as a kitten and became part of the family , "Sophie", a beautiful brown tabby that Dr. Buchinski brought home and bottle-fed, needing Sonny's help in teaching her how to be a cat, and "Gracie", who has no idea what-so-ever that she is a kitty.
Dr. Buchinski enjoys spending time with her family, reading and speed-walking for exercise.

Dr. Gari-Anne Jerry Austin
Dr. Gari-Anne Jerry Austin (aka Dr. Jerry) joined Mountain Park in 2002. Although Dr. Jerry was raised in New Jersey, she has practiced in Gwinnett County since she graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Dr. Jerry enjoys working on cats and dogs of all sizes, but identifies most with smaller dogs.
Pictured with her are "Frannie", her Toy Fox Terrier, and "Dexter", her Chihuahua. Her cats, "Pigpen" and "Halloween", opted out of this photo session. The newest addition to the pack is "George" a Chihuahua mix who was recently rescued.
In her free time, Dr. Jerry enjoys walking, reading, photography and crafts.
Dr. Susan L. Leck
Dr. Susan Leck joined Mountain Park Animal Hospital in 2007. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to Atlanta, Georgia where she has lived ever since. Dr. Leck attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate work and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Leck enjoys treating birds, rabbits, rodents, and ferrets.
Currently Dr. Leck shares her home with a menagerie of animals, including 3 small dogs (Precious, MJ, and Cookie), 2 birds (Elmo and Kes), and a chinchilla named Sebastian who is almost 19 years old. In addition to spending time with her furry and feathered family, Dr. Leck enjoys music, movies, reading, scrap-booking, and miniatures.
