MPAH has a culture of kindness. At each visit, Patients are treated with respect and warmth.   

We avoid using forced restraint or punitive methods in our training or management. Additionally, we educate Clients to recognize early indicators of behavioral problems, and include a standardized behavioral assessment is a part of every examination, which is also included as a part of the Patient’s permanent medical record.

All staff are familiar with basic behavioral management techniques and are proficient in applying them. We provide training for Clients in Behavior Counseling for the following areas:

• Anxiety (i.e. Separation, Noise, etc)
  
• Aggression
• Age specific developments (Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric) 
  
• Elimination Disorders (Urinating/Pooping)
• Behavior Modification
  
• Socialization
