MPAH Veterinarians are completely equipped to perform surgeries in house. Recovery time will depend on the procedure being performed, as well as the Patient's physical health.

Some Surgeries that we perform include:

• Spay (Ovariohysterectomy)
• Neuter (Orchidectomy)
• Eye Removal (Enucleation)
• Declawing (Onychectomy)
• Mass Removal (Lumpectomy)

We are also equipped and trained to perform emergency procedures involving:

• Lacerations, Amputations, Foreign Object Removal, and more.
  
  
  

If your require a procedure we do not preform we will refer you.

Requirements:

All Surgery Patients are required to be up to date on their Vaccines prior to scheduling.

Patients 7 years and older are considered Seniors; and therefore, are required to have bloodwork performed within one month of surgery.

• This is done in order ensure the patient's body can handle the anesthesia that is necessary to perform the surgery.

New Patients are required to have an exam with an MPAH Veterinarian prior to surgery.

• This is done so that MPAH is aware of the Patient's overall state of health. Additionally, the Doctor can verify the Patient's needs, and treatment possibilities.
