"an estimated 93 million cats and dogs in the US are overweight or obese. Health risks associated with being overweight include type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart  and respiratory disease, osteoarthritis, hypothyroidism, and decreased life expectancy of up to 2.5 years."

 2.5 pet years is roughly 10 human years

At MPAH we see and promote the importance of weight management to each Patient and Owner we take care of; as a result, we offer individualized food calculations tailored with the current food being served.

Our calculations take in to account:

• The contents in the Patient's food
  
• The Patient's Species and Breed
• The Patient's current weight
  
• And the Patient's goal weight
  

Whether your furry baby needs to gain or lose weight - we will help you get them there!

What we need from you:

• The food* you are currently feeding the Patient
  • What kind?
  • How much?
  • How often?
    
• The calorie content for that food.
  • Preferred: A picture of the nutrition label (Calorie content included)

*Each food is different: Dry, Wet,  Brand, Flavor, Quantity, Frequency ...all play a part in your Pets diet!
